摘要: 近年來電視及報章雜誌等媒體有關塑身美容及醫療論述的節目單元增加,以及國人對於健康概念的提升,減肥塑身之風氣大行其道,加上現代人生活步調緊湊、壓力大,對於透過運動健身來紓解壓力的需求也與日俱增。健身風潮的風行,可以從瑜珈運動的流行、自行車熱賣、以及健身俱樂部數量的驟增中看出。 影響健身動機的因素包含了許多構面,其中身體意象是經常被討論的,而社會比較效果的影響在過去研究中則較少被提及。本研究將具有健身動機的民眾當作運動休閒服務產業的目標客群,從消費者研究的角度透過對從事健身運動者發放問卷,以了解從事健身行為者的自尊、身體意象、社會比較效果和健身動機間的關係,再進一步探討男性和女性在身體意象上有無差異。 而根據相關文獻的探討,本研究提出自尊會顯著影響身體意象、身體意象和社會比較皆會顯著影響健身動機、以及不同的性別在身體意象上存在顯著差異等假設。而樣本收集方面,本研究利用網路問卷的發放,最後有效問卷共收回591份,並透過路徑分析及獨立樣本t檢定等資料分析方法的檢定,而其分析結果如下: 一、「自尊」對「身體意象」有顯著性的影響。 二、「身體意象」對「健身動機」有顯著性的影響。 三、「社會比較」對「健身動機」有顯著性的影響。 四、不同的「性別」在「身體意象」上沒有顯著性的差異。
