摘要: 本試驗以扦插方法繁殖25個朱槿品種或營養系為材料,另檢定其花粉活力檢定並進行雜交授粉、觀察果實發育,期能瞭解低稔性的問題,並從子代選拔出優良植株。 試驗之25個朱槿品種(營養系)花粉發芽率差異性很大,其中只有5個品種發芽率較高,分別為‘Cadace’之23 %、‘Como’之19 %、粉紅花‘0112’之32 %、紅花‘0146’之23.5 %與黃花‘8159’之17 %,其他品種花粉發芽率則普遍低於15 %。 溫度對朱槿花粉活力影響很大,開花前5天至開花期間若遭遇高於28℃或低於15℃之溫度累積超過10小時,則花粉活力顯著降低。此外開花後花柱脫落時子房頂端會有一孔洞產生,晴朗乾燥之氣候下很容易造成子房內胚珠失水萎縮,導致著果失敗。 選擇花粉活力高的親本,於適當之氣溫條件下進行授粉,花朵脫落後配合子房噴水處理或子房頂端羊毛脂膏處理,可使著果率由0 %最高分別提高為20 %或88 %,並獲得發育正常之種子。第一年實施噴水處理獲得9個果莢共92粒種子,平均每個果莢可得10.2粒種子。第二年實施羊毛脂膏處理獲得95個果莢共1406粒種子,平均每個果莢可得14.8粒種子,結種數比噴水處理提高45 %。 由第一年播種所獲得之38株實生苗當中,選拔出10株具幼年期短、花色明亮、花朵形態優美及分枝性佳等優良性狀之實生苗,作為盆花品種育種之親本。
Twenty five cultivars/clones of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L. were propagated by cutting. Pollen viability was tested. Following hybridization, fruit set was observed in order to understand the problems of low fertility. Furthermore, good seedlings in offspring population were selected. The pollen viability of 25 H. rosa-sinensis L. cultivars were varied, only five cultivars ‘Cadace', ‘Como', ‘0112', ‘0146' and ‘8159' own better viability. The pollen germination rate was 23 %, 19 %, 32 %, 23.5 % and 17 %, respectively. Relatively, the pollen germination rate of the other cultivars were lesser than 15 %. Temperature has a great effect on the pollen viability of H. rosa-sinensis. When they exposed to unsuitable temperature above 28℃ or below 15℃ during five days before flowering or anthesis accumulate more than 10 hours, the pollen viability decrease obviously. In addition, the top of ovary were come into being a hole after style abscised. It caused wither of ovules in the ovary under sunny days, resulted in the failure of fruit set. To use parents with high pollen viability, and to pollinate suitable temperature, then to spray water or to apply lanolin paste to the top of ovary, improved the fruit set rate from 0 % to 20 % or 88 % respectively. Moreover, using water spray treatment first year obtained 9 capsules and 92 seeds in number, the average mature seeds per capsule were 10.2. Using lanolin paste treatment second year obtained 95 capsules and 1406 seeds in number, the average mature seeds per capsule were 14.8. The number of seed set increased 45 % than water spray treatment. Sowed the 92 seeds obtained from first year crossing were got 38 seedlings, 10 plants with well characters in 38 offspring seedlings population were selected to be the parents of pot flower cultivars breeding.
