摘要: 本論文分成二個部分,第一部份在探討含磷二胺所衍生的新型芳香族polyetherimides (PEIs)之合成與性質。一種新型含磷二胺(3) 是由含磷二酚(1) 和1-fluoro-4-nitrobenzene 用低成本的K2CO3做為觸媒來進行芳香親核取代反應,生成含磷二硝(2) 後,再以氫氣和Pd/C 催化還原反應來得到。而一系列新型的芳香族 PEIs (5系列),是由含磷二胺(3) 與不同的芳香族二酸酐溶於DMAc,經由熱閉環法聚縮合製得。所得到PEIs (5系列) 表現出柔韌性和可撓性且具有優良的有機溶解性、玻璃轉移溫度 (Tg 270-304 ℃) 和熱安定性 (Td 5 wt % at 455-460 ℃) 及有低的熱膨脹係數 (47-51 ppm/ ℃)。 第二部分探討含磷二胺所衍生的新型芳香族polyimides (PIs)之合成與性質。新型含磷二胺(13) 是由9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10- phosphaphenanthrene 10-oxide (DOPO)和4-nitrobenzaldehyde 進行親核性加成得到帶有拉電子基的NO2 (11),再進行還原反應來得到帶有推電子基的NH2 (12),最後再藉由親電子取代反應來獲得。之後再將新型的含磷二胺(13)與不同的二酸酐聚縮合製得PIs (14系列)。將所得到PIs (14系列) 與商業化不含磷二胺 (4,4’-diaminodiphenyl methane,DDM) 所合成出的PIs (17系列) 進行比較,當結構上導入巨大的磷基側鏈時,表現出高溶解性、高玻璃轉移溫度 (Tg 310-390 ℃)、 高熱安定性 (Td 5 wt % at 488-540 ℃) 及低熱膨脹係數 (46-58 ppm/ ℃)。
This investigation is divided into two parts. The first part is the discussion of the synthesis and properties of the derivatives from phosphorus-containing diamine, the new type of aromatic polyetherimides (PEIs). The new type of phosphorus-containing diamine (3) was prepared though the nucleophilic aromatic substitution reaction of phosphorus-containing diol (1) and 1-fluoro-4- nitrobenzene using the inexpensive K2CO3 as catalyst, followed by H2 reduction of the dinitro intermediate. A series of new type of aromatic PEIs (5 series) were made of phosphorus-containing diamine (3) with various aromatic dianhydrides in DMAc, followed by thermal imidization. The obtained PEIs (5 series) exhibit good flexibility, good organo-soluble, good glass transition temperature (Tg 270-304 ℃), good thermal stability (Td 5 wt % at 455-460 ℃) and low coefficient of thermal expansion (47-51 ppm/ ℃). The second part is the discussion of the synthesis and properties of the derivatives from phosphorus-containing diamine, the new type of aromatic polyimides (PIs). A new type of phosphorus-containing diamine (13) was made of 9,10- dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene 10-oxide (DOPO) and 4-nitrobenzaldehyde. A nucleophilic addition reaction was brought about to produce NO2 (11) with electron-withdrawing group, and then the reduction reaction was executed to obtain NH2 (12) with electron-donating group; finally, the product was made via electrophilic substitution reaction. Furthermore, we used the new type of phosphorus-containing diamine (13) with various dianhydrides to synthesize PIs (14 series) via polycondensation reaction. The PIs (14 series) were compared with the commercialized PIs (17 series) prepared from non-phosphorus diamine (4,4'- diaminodiphenyl methane,DDM), we found that, as the bulky biphenylene phosphinate pendant was incorporated into the structures, the products exhibited high solubility, high glass transition temperature (Tg 310-390 ℃), good thermal stability (Td 5 wt % at 488-540 ℃) and low coefficient of thermal expansion (46-58 ppm/ ℃).
