|標題:||Relationship between Shoot Vigour and Bud Necrosis in 'Kyoho' and 'Honey Red' Grapevines|
Honey Red grape
Primary bud necrosis of 'Kyoho' and 'Honey Red' grapevines under one year two crops condition were investigated. The number of primary bud(4-11 th nodes) necrosis, transverse section of stem tissue and primary bud tissue viabilities were examined. The results showed that strong vigorous canes of 'Kyoho' grapevine had 4.2 (52.5%) necrotic buds and weak vigorous canes had only 1.15 (14.4%) buds. The primary bud necrosis number at budbreak was higher than that at 110 days after full bloom in the previous season, and 'Honey Red' had lower necrotic buds than 'Kyoho' . The basal 4~7 nodes bore higher number of necrotic primary bud than 8~11 nodes. Strong vigorous canes had higher vessel number, longer vessel diameter and pith diameter. Primary buds of normal vigorous shoot had higher viability, based on TTC (2,3,5- triphenyltertrazolium chloride) assay, than those of strong vigorous shoot. The strong vigorous shoot, which had the lowest primary bud viability, bore the highest number of necrotic primary bud.
