摘要: In this study, we try to prepare MgO-MgCO3/ Al(OH)3 and MgO-MgCO3/HA double layer coatings on pure magnesium using electrochemical deposition in order to increase corrosion resistance and provide functional surface for biomaterials. The coatings were characterized by XRD, SEM, FIB, XPS and dynamic polarization after annealing treatment. It was found that the first layer is MgCO3 / Mg(OH)2 composite coating and a thin layer of MgO on the top of it. The main structure of Al(OH)3 coating was Gibbsite. The Ca/P ratio of HA coating was 1.31 similar to Octacalcium Phosphate (OCP). Although the Al(OH)3 coating is relatively loose, it exhibits the best corrosion resistance due to its good chemical inertness. The MgCO3-MgO layer has good uniformity with only 0.2~0.5μm thickness but its corrosion resistance is better than that of the porous HA layer with 6μm thickness. However, dynamic polarization results show that both single layer MgO-MgCO3 or double layer MgO-MgCO3/Al(OH)3 or MgO-MgCO3/HA coating can increase the corrosion resistance of pure magnesium.
本研究嘗試以電化學沉積MgO-MgCO3/Al(OH)3與MgO-MgCO3/Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2兩種雙層鍍層於純鎂基材上,以提升其抗蝕性並提供功能性表面應用於生醫材料,鍍層經過熱處理後以XRD、SEM、FIB、XPS與動態極化分析其特性,發現第一層為MgCO3/Mg(OH)2的複合鍍層,並且在表面有一薄層的MgO,Al(OH)3鍍層主要為三水鋁石(Gibbsite),氫氧基磷灰石(Hydroxyapatite, HA, Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2)鍍層其Ca/P=1.31近似於八鈣磷酸鹽(Octacalcium Phosphate, OCP, Ca8H2(PO4)6.5H2O),並且發現Al(OH)3雖然鍍層較為疏鬆卻是抗蝕性最好的,歸功於其優良的化學惰性,而MgCO3-MgO層厚度雖只有0.2~0.5μm,但良好的均勻性使其抗蝕性比厚度為6μm 但孔隙多的HA鍍層更佳,動態極化結果顯示不論是單層的MgO-MgCO3,或雙層的MgO-MgCO3/Al(OH)3與MgO-MgCO3/HA鍍層都能夠提升純鎂抗蝕性。
