摘要: 
This thesis simulates propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in invisible cloaks with various shapes, wavelengths and media. In ideal design of material parameters, the invisible cloaks are not frequency independence. As a result, the perfect propagation of electromagnetic waves with different wavelengths should be observed when they propagate through the cloaks. However, the strong scatterings are produced by electromagnetic waves with different wavelengths in our numerical simulations.
For isotropic media, we derive the condition that the material parameters have to be modified by the media if the ideal invisible cloaks are achieved. For the anisotropic media, the invisibility effect is deteriorated compared with that in the isotropic media. From the simulation results, the invisibility of cloak is significantly affected by different wavelengths and media.

本文主要是模擬各種形狀隱形斗篷在不同波長與不同介質中電磁波的傳播情況,在理想的材料分布情況下,隱形斗篷的參數設定上與頻率無關,所以任何形狀的隱形斗篷應該可以讓任何頻段的電磁波經過,但透過模擬不同的波長情況下,可看出隱形斗篷還是有頻段上的限制。
另外我們推導出隱形斗篷進入到不同的等向性介質中,若要達到完美的隱形效果,必須在材料上因應不同介質做修正,對於異向性介質材料中,隱形效果比同向性介質中要來的差,從這些模擬結果可知,理想上的隱形斗篷的隱形效果會受到不同頻段與不同背景的介質影響。
