動力夾頭模組化設計摘要工具機在市場競爭的壓力下,一直朝向自動化工
具機發展,相關的設計包含有自動換刀機構(ATC)、自動上下工件的機
器手臂和刀具庫等相關設計,使得工具機的性能提升,適合變化趨於複雜
的加工狀況。但是用來夾持工件的動力夾頭系統,雖然具有自動夾持的特
性,可是功能性和多樣性仍嫌不足,進而影響到工具機性能。為增加夾頭
功能,將模組化理論運用到夾頭系統(Chuck System)的設計上,舊和新
系統以功能模組的型態設計並歸納模組化的連接關係,建立共同的堆疊介
面,增加舊系統的功能性並保留原有的自動化特徵。動力夾頭是一種泛用
型夾治具,依功能可分成:夾持定位單元(clamping-locating unit)、力
量轉換單元(force transferring unit)、動力單元(power unit)、連接
單元(connecting unit)和輔助單元(auxiliary unit)等五個單元模組,
以功能要求設計出各模組。利用工件特徵和系統單元特徵之間的關係撰寫
單元特徵選用程式,使用者只要輸入工件特徵,就可得到適合的夾持定位
單元、力量轉換單元、動力單元和連接單元特徵,而輔助單元的功能,則
是用來輔助系統的不足。再以各元件的構造特徵和功能特徵歸納出相同功
能和相異功能構造之間的組合(assembly)關係,作為採用此種設計方式
,將使系統具多功能性、並保存系統的自動化能力。對於系統的生產公司
而言,產生彈性大、庫存少和設計組合靈活等優點。

Modular Design for Power ChuckAbstract Automatic machine tool
is the tendency of development under market competition
recently. Many useful designs could increase the function of the
machine tool, for example, ATC (Automatic Tool Changer), Robot,
Tool Warehouse etc. Therefore, machine tools can be used for
complicate process. Power chuck system is used for clamping
workpiece. Although it has the characteristic of automatic
clamping, but the function and the diversity are insufficient.
Hence, the function of the machine tool is restricted. The
modular design theory is applied to the power chuck system
design in order to increase its function. The power chuck system
is divided into modules according to the function. This
methodology can let the power chuck system become a more
flexible system with more functions. Power chuck system is a
widespread fixture. It can be divided into clamping-locating
unit, force-transferring unit, power unit, connecting unit, and
auxiliary unit based on functional characteristics. A computer
program is written based on the features of workpiece and the
relationship between the units to generate the feasible power
chuck system. Once the user input the features of the workpiece,
the program will automatically output suitable units (clamping-
locating unit, force transferring unit, power A multi-
functional and automatic power chuck system can be designed by
the modular design methodology. It can provide a much better
flexible manufacturing process.
