本文探討鉻鉬合金鋼車削過程中,其表面加工粗糙度與切削力之變化。
利用碳化鈦刀具切削鉻鉬鋼,在車床上架設動力計以量測刀具所受的切削
力 ,並使用表面粗度儀量測鉻鉬鋼的表面粗糙度值。
實驗的過程配合不同的操作參數變化,可以得到切削力及表面粗糙度與
各項切削條件的函數關係。本實驗主要變化的切削參數設定為:進刀深度
b 、進給率 t、切削速度 v 等三種。
實驗的結果顯示:
(1) 切削力方面:切削力 Fp 會隨切削速度低而較高,當速度提升後切削
力 會降低,且切削力與進給率和進刀深度均成正比。當切削速度甚大
,例如在 230m/min以上時,切削力會趨於穩定值。經實驗估算鉻鉬合
金鋼的比能量Uo 為 2.9 E+09 J/M3。
(2) 表面粗糙度方面:表面粗糙度Ra會隨切削速度低而較差,當速度提升
後 表面粗糙度會降低且趨於穩定值。當切削速度v=25m/min左右,會
產生最大 表面粗糙度Ra。

ABSTRACT
In the present paper, variations of surface roughness and
cutting force for Cr-Mo alloy steel experiencing a series of
turning machini -ng were investigated . The tipped carbide tool
was used . The cutti -ng force and surface roughness were
measured by tridirectional dyna -mometer and surface
profilemeter,respectively.
The relationships of surface roughness and cutting force versus
the cutting condition can be obtained by variation of operating
par -ameter during the machining process,The primary physical
parameters governing the cutting process are (1) depth of cut
(2) feed rate and (3) cutting speed.
The experimental results show that , the cutting force increases
with increasing feed rate and depth of cut, but decreases with
incre -asing cutting speed. For a sufficiently large cutting
speed, e. g. v > 230m/min, the cutting force becomes a
constant value. The specif -ic cutting energy Uo of Cr-Mo alloy
steel is calculated to be 2.9 E + 09 J/M3. It is also found
that at low cutting speed, a rough machi ned surface is
created. Maximun surface roughness occurs at the cutt -ing
speed approximately equal to 25m/min. In general, the machined
surface becomes smooth when the cutting speed is high.
