印度棗之開花受夜間光照之影響,因此可利用夜間燈照來提早印度
棗之開花 及產期。為了將燈照處理應用在印度棗實際生產上及節省能源
成本,本研究將探 討能提早印度棗開花及產期之夜間最適之照光時數、
光質及暗期中斷處理法,以 及照光後樹體枝梢內碳水化合物含量之變化
。試驗結果顯示,夜間照光時數愈長 ,有開花愈早、開花數愈多、著果
愈早、產期愈早之現象。在考慮疏果工作量、 產量、產期及能源成本情
形下,夜間照光則以9小時為最適。不同暗期中斷處理 中,以照光1小時
停1小時之處理,對其枝梢生育、開花數、產量、產期,以及節 省能源之
效果較佳。由日光燈、植物燈、鎢絲燈及太陽燈產生之不同光質均有促
進印度棗結果枝枝梢伸長、節數增加、節間縮短、開花期提早、早期開花
及著果 數增加、產期提早的現象。唯比較樹體生育、產量及產期,以日
光燈及植物燈較 佳。印度棗枝梢澱粉含量,隨著枝梢生長、開花、著果
、採果,有明顯的季節性 變化;可溶糖之變化較不明顯。照光處理者因
開花及產期提早,枝梢碳水化合物 含量之高低峰亦隨之提早。

The flowering of Indian jujube was affected by light
treatment during the night. Hence, the flowering and
yielding dates can be advanced by light treatment
applied during the night. For practical
application of light treatment in advancing yielding dates for
Indian jujube production and saving energy costs, the suitable
lighting hours and quality, night-break methods during the night
for advancing flowering and yielding dates and changes
of carbohydrate content in shoot after light
treatment were studied. Results
showed that the flowering and yielding dates can be great
advanced and number of flowers and fruit setting were increased
with increasing lighting hours during the night. By
consideration in working load in fruit thinning,
yield, yielding dates, and energy costs, nine hours
of lighting during the night was suitable. For
suitable shoot growth and development, flower numbers, yield and
yielding dates, the best night break method was found for the
treatment of one hour in light followed by one hour in dark.
The increasing in number of nodes, shortening in length of
internodes, and elongating in fruiting shoots, earlier
flowering, increasing in flower and fruit set
numbers at the earlier stage and advancing in yielding
dates were achieved when plants treated with various
kinds of light quality produced by fluorescent, floral,
incandescent, and solar lamps. However, the best lighting
effects produced by fluorescent and floral lamps
which had the best suitable effects in plant
development, yield, and yielding dates were found.
Seasonal and developmental changes of starch but not the soluble
sugar content in shoots during shoot growth, flowering,
fruit setting and harvesting, were also found.
Highest soluble sugar content was found at flower
initiation stage. The highest peak in carbohydrate content
in shoots was advanced which was concurrent with the advancing
of flowering and yielding dates by light treatment
during the night.
