從Hambrick and Mason''s (1984)提出高層理論後，許多學者開始希望能夠深入瞭解高階經理團隊對於組織之影響為何。本研究以2008年台灣上市電子產業為樣本，以高階經營團隊特徵為前因，透過國際多角化作為中介變項，建構一個影響組織績效之模型。研究發現，高階經理人持股比率越高，從事國際多角化的意願就越低，而國際多角化的確有助於改善組織績效，而高階經營團隊特質則不會透過國際化策略，進而影響組織績效。最後，本文針對研究結果，提出建議及未來研究方向。
As Hambrick and Mason''s (1984) proposed upper-echelons theory, many scholars are eager to understand how top management team influences organization performance . Using a data on Taiwan 850 listed electronic as an example. Top management team characteristics as independent variable and international diversification as mediating variable .We exam how Tom manager influence organization performance through international diversification. In the end , we found out that the higher rate of CEO ownership, engaged in international diversification will lower, and the international diversification does help to improve organizational performance, and top management team characteristics will not ffecting the organization performance through international diversification strategy. Finally, for the findings, recommendations and future research directions.
