In this research, we will discuss the growing and development progress of the new small-scale biotechnology company, and the research object will focus on the health food industry which applies widely in the biotechnology industry and links with human's life deeply. We will use the case study research to discuss these topics, and connect them with the theory. After that, we will more understand these topics and the industry of the case study in the research than before. The case study object is the Maxluck biotechnology company in Taiwan. Its product in the market is the health food which has the efficacy can control the blood sugar and prevent the complication of the later period diabetes, and this technology makes Maxluck get lots of medals in several countries.
Because R&D needs great amount of cost and has characteristic of high risk, Taiwan present biotechnology companies would seldom like to put into R&D by themself, and mostly get the technology through the way of buying the patent to the outside. So as the case of Maxluck that has special good fortune and develop technology by itself, there is value of the research even more.
So the research expects to understand the new small-scale biotechnology company which focus on research by analyzing the case study, and know what key successful factors it has, although it has less resource and experience. And we also want to know that the relative diversiform measure factors are what, when Maxluck met the situation of weighty decision, and how to use these diversiform measure factors to make the best decision. After that, the research will use some theories to discuss these topics of the case study, and try to understand them. Finally, we will generalize the last conclusion, and expect that we can propose some suggestions to the other biotechnology companies.
