本研究之目的為探討飼糧中添加植生劑對蛋雞之產蛋性能、蛋品質及腸道性狀之影響。分成兩個試驗進行探討:試驗一採用52週齡海蘭-36蛋雞26548隻為試驗動物,分成兩個處理組,分別為對照組 (Control) 及添加0.4% 植生劑 (Phytogenics) 與光合菌 (Photosynthetic bacteria, PSB) 混合處理組 (0.2% Phy + 0.2% PSB) ,每處理組二重覆,試驗期為9週,基礎飼糧含代謝能 2820 kcal/kg及粗蛋白16.58%,飼料與飲水採任飼,採籠式飼養,每6隻1籠。試驗期間於第2、5、7、9週收集蛋,每次採樣每重覆收集20顆,每處理組共40顆蛋,供測定其蛋品質;試驗第6到第9週,每日測定產蛋性狀,於試驗結束後計算試驗期間之雞隻斃死率;並於試驗第9週每重覆採取10顆蛋,每處理共20顆蛋,供官能品評測定。試驗二採用30週齡海蘭蛋雞192隻,以分層採樣 (Stratified sampling) 逢機採取樣本後分成5個處理組,分別為基礎飼糧 (Control ) 與4個植生劑含量處理組,分別為添加0.2%、0.4%、0.6%、0.8% 植生劑之處理組,每處理組4重覆,每重覆8隻,基礎飼糧含代謝能2800 kcal/kg及粗蛋白18.29%,飼料與飲水採任食,雞隻採個別籠飼,一籠一隻,試驗期為6週;於試驗第1週至第6週,每週測定其產蛋性狀;於試驗第6週連續收集5天蛋,每次採樣每重覆採取4顆蛋,每處理組16顆蛋,共96顆蛋,供測定蛋品質;於試驗第6週結束,每重覆採取2隻雞,每處理組共8隻,由翼下靜脈採血後分離血清,供測定血清抗氧化酵素,然後將雞隻犧牲,採取內臟及消化道供測定腸道性狀,並計算試驗期間之雞隻斃死率。結果顯示,試驗一,產蛋性狀方面,植生劑與光合菌混合處理組之隻日採食量顯著低於對照組 (P < 0.05);但產蛋量及飼料換蛋率顯著較對照組為佳 (P < 0.05);蛋品質方面,蛋黃重與蛋黃比率顯著較對照組高 (P < 0.05);蛋黃三酸甘油酯含量顯著低於對照組 (P < 0.05);蛋黃色澤部份,處理組顯著較對照組深 (P < 0.05);官能品評方面,亦以處理組顯著較對照組佳 (P < 0.05)。試驗二,0.8% 植生劑處理組之麩胱甘肽過氧化酶 (GSH-Px) 活性顯著較對照組高 (P < 0.05);蛋品質方面,0.2% 植生劑處理組之蛋黃比率顯著較對照組高 (P < 0.05);豪氏單位以0.6% 植生劑處理組顯著較對照組高 (P < 0.05);蛋黃膽固醇含量於0.6% 植生劑處理組顯著較對照組低 (P < 0.05);蛋黃色澤部份,0.6% 植生劑處理組之羅氏比色扇 (RCF) 值顯著高於對照組 (P < 0.05);消化道相對重量及相對長度部份,0.6% 植生劑處理組之腺胃相對重量於顯著較對照組重 (P < 0.05);0.6% 植生劑處理組之十二指腸與迴腸相對長度顯著較對照組長 (P < 0.05);腸道組織方面,0.6% 植生劑處理組之空腸絨毛與腺窩深度比顯著較對照組高 (P < 0.05),0.8% 植生劑處理組之空腸黏膜肌肉層厚度顯著較對照組厚 (P < 0.05);0.4% 植生劑處理組之迴腸絨毛高度及黏膜肌肉層厚度顯著較對照組高 (P < 0.05)。綜合以上之結果顯示,本試驗所使用之植生劑與光合菌可供做為改善雞隻產蛋性能和蛋品質之飼料添加物。

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of dietary supplementation of phytogenics on laying performance, egg qualities and intestinal characteristics in laying hens. The experiment was divided into two trials: In trial 1, 26548 laying hens (Hy-line W-36) 52 weeks of age, were randomly allocated to two treatments. The two treatments including the basal diet (Control) treatment and the basal diet added with 0.2% phytogenics and 0.2% photosynthetic bacteria (Phy + PSB - 0.4%), each treatment had 2 replicates, for nine-week experimental period. Basal diet contained 2820 kcal/kg ME and 16.58% CP. Six birds were housed in one cage. Feed and water were supplied ad libitum. Twenty eggs per replicated were collected to measure egg qualities in 2th, 5th , 7th and 9th weeks of trial 1. Laying performance was recorded from every replicate during 6th to 9th weeks of trial 1. Mortality rate was calculated during experimental period. 10 eggs per replicate were measure the organoleptic evaluation. In trial 2, 192 laying hens (Hy-line w36) 30 week-of age, were randomly divided into 5 treatments including birds fed with basal diet (Control) and basal diet added with different levels of phytogenics (0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8%). Each treatment has 4 replicates with 8 birds per replicate. Basal diet contained 2800 kcal/kg ME and 18.29% CP. One bird was housed in one battery cage. Feed and water were supplied ad libitum. The experimental period was 6 weeks. Laying performance was recorded from every replicate during 1st to 6th weeks of trial 2. Four eggs per replicate were collected to measure egg qualities for 5 days serially. Two birds per replicate were sacrificed and blooded intravenously to analysis the activities of serum antioxidant enzymes in 6th week and to measure the intestinal characteristics of trial 2. Mortality rate was calculated during experimental period. Results in trial 1 indicated that daily feed intake in 0.4% Phy + PSB treatment was significantly lower than control treatment (P < 0.05). Egg mass and feed conversion ratio (feed/egg) in 0.4% Phy + PSB treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). Yolk weight, yolk percentage and yolk color in 0.4% Phy + PSB treatment were significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). In organoleptic evaluation, 0.4% Phy + PSB treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). And the results in trial 2 indicated that the activitiy of GSH-Px in 0.8% Phy treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). Yolk percentage in 0.2% Phy treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). Haugh unit in 0.6% Phy treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). Yolk cholesterol in 0.6% Phy treatment was significantly lower than control treatment (P < 0.05). RCF value in 0.6% Phy treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). Relative weight of proventriculus in 0.6% Phy treatment was significantly heavier than control treatment (P < 0.05). Relative length of duodenum and ileum in 0.6% Phy treatment was significantly longer than control treatment (P < 0.05). Villus height/crypt depth ratio of jejunum in 0.6% Phy treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). Muscle thickness of jejunum in 0.8% Phy treatment was significantly thicker than control treatment. Villus height and muscle thickness of ileum in 0.4% Phy treatment was significantly higher than control treatment (P < 0.05). Therefore, when dietary supplementation of Phytogenics or PSB could develop as a kind of feed additives that can improve laying hen performance and egg qualities.
