摘要: 
不完全競爭性市場係最常出現於實際的經濟社會。在農業相關研究中,常
以農業部門的經濟單位眾多、經營規模較小的理由,將之歸類為具有純粹
完全競爭性市場的特性,故假設農業經營單位具有價格接受者行為假說以
進行研究。然而由近年來我國飼料與養豬產業的背景資料觀察得知,不論
是飼料製造廠商的規模與市場占有率,以及養豬農場的飼養規模,均呈現
逐漸擴大且逐年增加的趨勢,雙方對市場的影響力不斷的增強。市場的不
完全競爭性已隱然形成重要的議題,此即為本文最主要的目的與研究方向
。本文依據我國飼料與養豬產業的產業結構特行,採用數量競爭行為的猜
測彈性寡占市場模型。唯目前猜測彈性模型的研究中,多半針對特定單一
產業之水平競爭為對象,仍需架構於該產業面臨上、下游產業均具有完全
競爭市場結構。因此,本文為使寡占模型更趨近於實際經濟情況,透過猜
測彈性寡占模型的沿伸,發展出併合上、下游產業間對特定產品的賣方與
買方市場寡占力量之經濟模型。經研究發現,本文所建立的產業間寡占力
猜測彈性模型,除符合產業經濟理論之外,尚具有相當的適用性,可直接
推估雙方的寡占力量並且觀察出廠商的競爭行為模式。經利用民國83、84
年99家飼料廠商與33家中小型養豬農場初級資料進行實證分析,結果發現
養豬農場對於飼料要素寡買力量並不顯著,亦即養豬農場呈現飼料要素價
格接受者的行為;至於飼料廠商則呈現顯著的飼料寡賣行為。總之,在我
國飼料市場產業結構中呈現上游飼料廠商具有寡占力量;下游養豬農場則
無顯著的市場力量。然而依本模型的設定,養豬農場若能持續擴大經營規
模,當可透過飼料寡買力量,抵銷飼料製造廠商的寡賣力量,進而降低飼
料要素投入的購買成本,提昇產業競爭力。

Imcompetitive market is observed more often than competitve
market is in empirical world. Especially, because of the large
numbers of agriculture agents and the small scale of farm,the
price-taking behavior assumption has been used in the empirical
study of agricultural market. The data has shown that the scale
and market-share of both feed firms and hog farms are becoming
larger in recent years, thus,it is suspected that there may be
more impacts on feed market than before. The goal of this study
is to examine the imcompetitive market between feed and hog
industry. According to the characteristics of feed and hog
industrial structure in Taiwan, the quantitative competition
setting of the conjectral variation model is used in this study.
Most of research to conjectural variation''s oligopoly and
oligopsony model have focused on one specific industry with the
hypothisis of price-taking behavior on both upstream and
downstream firms. This study is trying to release the previous
assumption and to develope a conjectural variation model with
market power on both upstream and downstream firms. The model
used in this research is not only consist with industrial
economics theory,but also can be tested empirically.By useing
the production cost data set containing 99 feed firms and 33 hog
farms from 1994 to 1995,the major findings of this research
include:(1) The hog farms does not have significant oligopsony
power on feed inputs, which implies that the hog farms suit
price-taking behavior hypothesis on feed input factor. (2) The
feed firms have singificant oligopoly power on his feed
products,which implies that the hypothesis of feed firm''s price-
taking behavior is rejected. (3) The feed firms have relatively
more market power than hog firms do in Taiwan. (4) It is proved
by this research that the farmer will not only enjoy the
economies of scale but also will enjoy the oligopsony power on
feed inputs market,if the scale of farm is enlarged. To have
oligopsony power can reduce the oligopoly power from feed firms,
and also lower the the cost of feed input in hog production.
