摘要: 
在大多數的研究裡,高解析度影像往往能提供許多重要的資訊。例如:清晰的監視系統影像有助於警察辦案;在醫學應用上,高解析度X光片影像能幫助醫生做出正確的診斷。
取得高解析度影像的方式有很多種,如:硬體上的提升或是改善取像環境,都可提高擷取影像的品質。以監視系統為例,往往因為預算的考量,CCD攝影機只能選用較為低階的機種,導致擷取的影像畫素不足;甚至因為取像環境的限制,只能夠取得辨識度較差的影像。
如何將這些低解析度影像還原出必要的資訊成為一門重要的課題。其研究核心為在有限的資訊裡,利用影像處理的方式讓影像更貼近現實。
本研究將以車牌影像為範本,利用多幅解析度低且模糊的車牌影像試圖重建高解析度影像,還原到能清楚辨識影像特徵,甚至以期望達到品質更佳優良的高解析度影像為研究目標。
