Improve the wear and corrosion resistance of 440C stainless steel for IC package molding, Al203/ZrO2 composites films coatings were conducted in Zr(OC3H7)4 + H2O + C2H4(OH)2 and Al(OC3H7)3+ H2O+ C3H7OH solutions , respectively by dipping methods. The coated specimen were characterized by TGA/DTA,XRD, SEM, IR, scratch tests, wear corrosion test and polarization tests.
TGA/DTA diagrams indicated that as-coated films were Zr2O(OH)6 and Al2O(OH)4,,respectively. XRD diagrams revealed that t-ZrO2 was crystallized at 500℃ and γ-Al2O3 at 700℃.
Polarization tests, wear test, wear corrosion test and immersion test reviewed that the Al2O3 / ZrO2 specimens were much more corrosion and wear resistant than the uncoated. SEM/EDS observations of the scratched specimens indicated that the adhesion strength of Al2O3 / ZrO2 film on 440C was stronger than the yield strength of 440C.

本研究係改進440C不銹鋼IC封裝模具的耐磨耗和耐腐蝕特性,特別是利用浸漬的方法分別在Zr(OC3H7)4 + H2O + C2H4(OH)2 以及 Al(OC3H7)3+ H2O+ C3H7OH二種水溶液獲得 Al2O3 / ZrO2複合塗層的組成。其塗層組成特性分析包括 TGA/DTA, XRD, SEM, IR, 刮痕測試,溼式磨耗測試,浸泡測試及極化試驗。
由TGA/DTA圖顯示出複合塗層的結構,應分別為Zr2O(OH)6 和Al2O(OH)4,,XRD也顯示氧化鋯在500℃是t-ZrO2的結晶型態,而氧化鋁在700℃是Al2O3的結構。由極化測試,乾式磨耗,溼式磨耗以及浸泡測試均顯示出有浸鍍Al2O3 / ZrO2的不鏽鋼,不論在抗磨耗或抗腐蝕效果皆優於未鍍層的不銹鋼。另外由SEM/EDS觀察刮痕試片的組成,顯示出Al2O3 / ZrO2鍍層在440C不銹鋼的結合強度優於基材的降伏強度。
