摘要: 
位置訊息在無線感測網路的應用中已日趨重要。此計畫書提出一個以網路架構為基礎的分散式行動定位系統,並簡要敘述研究團隊在直線可視(Line-of-Sight)環境下,利用時間與角度(Time-of-Arrival/Angle-of-Arrival)訊息所設計之行動定位演算法。雖然目前文獻中已有許多的非直線可視(Non-Line-of-Sight)環境定位演算法,然而這些演算法複雜度高,無法直接應用於行動無線感測網路之上。此計畫將針對無線感測網路的特性,提出更有效率且實用的非直線可視行動定位演算法,進而符合無線感測網路應用的需求。

Location-awareness is crucial and becoming increasingly important to many applications in wireless sensor networks. This project proposal presents a network-based positioning system and outlines recent work in which we have developed an efficient principled approach to localize a mobile sensor using an TOA/AOA hybrid positioning scheme employing multiple seeds in the line-of-sight (LOS) scenario. Although numerous non-line-of-sight (NLOS) mitigation techniques have been reported, due to the limited capabilities, practical and efficient NLOS localization techniques for mobile wireless sensor networks still require further research. This project will evaluate the merits and trade-offs of the different available techniques towards developing more efficient and practical NLOS mitigation algorithms for wireless sensing systems.
