ABSTRACT This study focused on the bioremediation in soil
contaminated by chlorinated hydrocarbons. The application of
supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) on the nonvolatile organic
compound from soils was also discussed. The target compounds of
this study were 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) and
trichloroethylene (TCE). These compounds are the most commonly
pollutants in the environment and are used as chlorinated
aromatic compound and chlorinated aliphatic compound in this
