Pathogen Isolation from Dead Embryoes Collected from Duck/Goose Hatchery and Studies on the Prevention and Treatment Ofthe Diseases
This study proposes to evaluate the hatching and general sanitary problems of hatching farms of waterfowls in Taiwan by the survey and record. We hope that by isolation of pathogens (bacteria) and antibiotic resistance test, we could provide useful suggestion of antibiotic treatment. The final goal is to solve the problem pre-termination of hatching eggs, and to improve the general sanitary status of the hatching farms, and thus decreases the problems of disease control of waterfowls, which will eventually increase the income of the farmers.
