dc.description.abstractThe study will investrgate the feasibility of manufacturing the activated carbons from agricultural wastes.The use of carbon will be economical, since rice hulls is a waste product in large quantities, especially in Taiwan.The soils were taken from a heavy metal polluted paddy field in Changhua City.To prepare active carbon from agricultural wastes with high carbon content and low inonganic matter content, such as rice hulls.To test adsorption of inorganic pollutants by activated rice hulls.en_US
