摘要: 
本計畫主要針對具有高度耐熱性海藻糖合成酶的基因選殖、蛋白質表現、特性分析比較及量產最適化進行評估工作,期能藉由海藻糖合成酶之作用,將低利用價值之殘餘農作物(如破碎稻米)所產生之麥芽糖漿,直接地轉化成高附加價值之海藻糖及其他高蛋白副產物等相關產品,以改善目前國內農業所面臨的窘境。

In this project, we propose to focus on the evaluation of gene cloning, protein expression, contrast biochemical properties analysis and optimal scale-up production for highly thermostable trehalose synthase. Additionally, we also expect the catalytic ability of the recombinant trehalose synthase which can directly convert the maltose into trehalose and other protein-enrich byproduct with high additive value to overcome the current predicament of agriculture in our country.
