本研究主要宗旨在建立出雲山自然保留區植群監測基準值與架構。基準值
來源包含地面和空中二階段,地面部分共設立永久樣區17個,區內出現維
管束植物計有109科247屬366種,其植群型可分成5群,分別是:1.鐵杉∼
高山新木薑子林型,2.華山松林型,3.三斗石櫟林型,4.臺灣二葉松∼細
葉饅頭果林型,5.豬腳楠林型。歧異度指數計算結果,以新浦森指數而言
,樣區7最低(0.50),樣區11最高(0.91) 。空中調查部分,藉由航照判釋
獲知區內土地利用型以闊葉樹混淆林為主,佔69.9%,針闊葉混淆林5.8
%次之,天然檜木林佔4.27%。再者以地理資訊系統整合區內相關地理圖

The purpose of this study was to establish the baseline and
framework for vegetation monitoring .The baseline was generated
from ground and air surveys. According to ground survey, there
are 366 species, 247 genera,and 109 families of vascular plants
recorded in seventeen permanent plots.Plant communities in
these plots can be divided into five types: (1)Tsuga chinensis
~Neolitsea acuminatssiam forest type.(2)Pinus armandi forest
type. (3)Pasania hancei forest type. (4)Pinus taiwanensis
~Glochidion rubrum
