Such modification was expected to change the surface properties and improve the cell adhesion of polyurethane substrate. We confirmed by contact angle and ESCA measurements, L-lactide could be grafted onto polyurethane surface pretreated with an argon plasma. The grafted surface also showed better cellular affinity in our cell culture test. This is the first time that L-lactide monomers were shown to be grafted onto the polymer substrate and have an effect on cell adhesion. 本實驗是利用電漿誘導接枝聚合(plasma-induced graft polymerization)表面改質法,將L-lactide單體接枝於經電漿處理過的聚胺基甲酸酯(polyurethane)表面,形成一層親水性較佳,且具有生物可降解性(biodegradability)的polylactide接枝高分子薄膜。並利用靜態接觸角測量,ATR-FTIR與ESCA光譜,以及細胞附著測試,來分析改質後薄膜的表面特性。由接觸角與ESCA的結果分析,可證明L-lactide已成功接枝聚合於聚胺基甲酸酯表面,而細胞附著測試的數據亦顯示,表面接枝polylactide的基材,細胞的附著能力較未接枝者為佳。本實驗乃是相關研究中,首次以L-lactide單體進行電漿接枝聚合,將具生物可降解性的高分子引入基材(聚胺基甲酸酯)表面,發現確能有效改善細胞對基材的附著能力。 |
