本研究自1996年9月至1998年12月止，觀察惠蓀林場臺灣榕之榕果物候。臺灣榕的榕果生產主要於3至12月，雌株榕果生產高峰較雄株約早1?2個月，呈現榕果生產的時序差異。在單株階層，每珠每年具1?3個花季；在株內階層，雌株株內榕果花期較雄株不同步。A期雌榕果量、總雌榕果量與氣溫呈顯著正相關，與雨量無相關；A期雄榕果量、總雄榕果量與氣溫、降水間皆呈顯著正相關。臺灣榕的榕果生產反應了氣候的變化，顯示臺灣榕適應惠蓀林場的生育地環境。
