本研究將柳杉(Cryptomeria japonica; Japanese cedar) 木材以重量比100/0 、75/25、50/50之酚/間苯二酚混合液為溶劑,H2SO4 為催化劑,於130℃加熱90 min 進行液化處理,探討添加間苯二酚對柳杉木材之液化效果及其液化產物之性質。由結果顯示,酚/間苯二酚共溶劑可應用於木材之液化處理,添加間苯二酚者其液化產物之結合酚含量較高,然其液化效果降低,未液化之木材殘渣含量較高,且粘度大幅提升;FT-IR 分析顯示液化過程木材之化學組成分被降解,
