為探討臺灣野生角桑（Morus acidosa Criff.）的種內變異，本試驗調查臺灣北宜地區、北部地區、嘉南地區、恆春地區、花東地區、中央山區及西岸地區等七個生育地生長之參樹葉片特性。結果顯示，葉片性狀在生育地間呈現顯著差異，有其生態特性。經主成分析結果也得知，整個臺灣之島桑族群在不同生息地內也有類似之個體存在。
