In this thesis , we discuss that how to select appropriate relay to help us deliver message from source to destination in cooperative communication systems with decode-and-forward .And we can get better transmissible performance. The methods of traditional relay selection almost use SNR(signal-to-noise-ratio) of every transmissible path. Basis such as Max-Min rule, it uses minimum SNR of each relay node transmits in order to select the best as the cooperative node. However, these methods are not taking into consideration the transmissible performance of cooperation node at the destination. Therefore, in this thesis we will propose a method of relay selection in accordance with transmissible BER(bit error rate) that every relay node provided. And we analyze and discuss to the method. The experimental results show that our proposed method can significantly reduce the performance of the Max-Min rule.
