現在的行動網路中,Wi-Fi占了無線網路中很重要的一環,Wi-Fi是最近用在電子產品中交換資訊以及傳輸的科技,因為它的移動性及速度是目前現有的無線傳輸技術像是:WIMAX、HSPA 、UMTS或GSM中最好的。Wi-Fi建立在 IEEE 802.11的標準下,並且有高速傳輸優點,隨著科技的日益進步,原本是用在室內的Wi-Fi無線基地台,因為筆記型電腦的普及以及行動電話越來越重視上網的功能,所以Wi-Fi也被拿到戶外使用,但是訊號範圍有限,所以我們利用在windows的作業系統上,建立換手機制,只要發現比使用者目前連線的無線基地台還要更強的訊號的無線基地台,我們就會把它紀錄下來,當使用者的接收的訊號强度掉下來的時候,就會跟訊號最強的基地台連線,然後跟原本的基地台結束連線,完成換手程序。

Wi-Fi is very important part of a wireless network in this generation. Due to its mobility and bandwidth are best of the Radio transmission, such as WiMax, HSPA, UMTS or GSM, Wi-Fi usually used to transmission on electronic devices.
Wi-Fi based on the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers'' 802.11 standard, which had the advantage of high speed transmission. With the growth of the computer technology, Wi-Fi becoming outdoor wireless transmission since we use laptops, PDA or other mobile radio devices. But Wi-Fi transmission range only 50 square kilometers in the room, and 140 square kilometers outdoor , IEEE 802.11n has two times IEEE 802.11 range, but Wi-Fi signal ranger is still limited, so we proposed a handover method on windows operation system, if we find the wireless access point with strength Received Signal Strength Indication , we will record this access point information like Service Set Identifier ,when user’s Received Signal Strength Indication degraded by distance ,we will connect with the best Received Signal Strength Indication access point , then disconnect with previous access point .
