Oyster leaf (Mertensia maritime) was high Zn content in plant body. In this study, oyster leaf was cultivated in plant factory associated with artificial 9R1B LED irradiation at 230±20 μmol m^(-2) s^(-1) and 16 h photoperiod. Zinc level of nutrient solution was adjusted up to 1 ppm for hydroponic system or foliar fertilization. Results demonstrated that this cultivation management not only led to maximum quantity of harvestable leaf per plant per week but also increased the Zn content up to 21.4 mg/100g in leaf tissue. This management can be used to produce high-Zn oyster leaf for natural and healthy Zn consumption. |
