This study evaluated the use of reduce-risk pesticide as an alternative to reduce insecticide resistance. In addition, the regurgitation behavior of Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel) was also discussed, evaluated the feasibility of expand the control area of the attract-and-kill site. The LC90 trial for male fruit fly in four insecticides including spinosad-, acetamiprid-, thiamethoxam-, and chlorantraniliprole-laced methyl eugenol were 263.6 ppm, 176.34 ppm, 184.41 ppm, and 181.87 ppm, respectively. The dose of insecticide horizontal transfer trial used LC90 of each insecticides, the results showed that 24-hours mortality rate, including spinosad-, thiamethoxam-, and acetamiprid-laced ME, were 45.0±18.5, 37.5±7.5, and 12.5±12.5% for the male fruit fly. There were no lethal effect on male for chlorantraniliprole-laced ME and the control group. The results of 24-hours mortality rate in female fruit fly showed that there was no significantly different between the four insecticide-laced ME and the control group. The results showed that 48-hour mortality rate, including spinosad-, thiamethoxam-, and acetamiprid-laced ME, were 75.0±15.5, 70.0±5.8, 37.5±11.8% to the male fruit fly, but had significantly different with chlorantraniliprole-laced ME which mortality rate was 10.0±4.1%. The results of 48-hour mortality rate in female fruit fly showed that the mortality rate, spinosad-, acetamiprid- and thiamethoxam-laced ME, was 47.5±16, 22.5±11.1, 7.5±7.5% and had significantly different with chlorantraniliprole-laced ME which mortality rate was 2.5±2.5%. The trial of different regurgitant of insectcides-laced ME as lure, results had shown that there was no significantly different in male relative catch rate. The relative catch rate of regurgitant of spinosad-laced ME and ME outdoor trial were 40.77±4.4 and 45.84±4.7% which were significantly different with the control group. This study provided the lethal dose of four reduced-risk insecticides and the effectiveness of four insecticides horizontal transfer in oriental fruit fly. Applied the regurgitation behavior from feeding on reduced-risk insecticides not only expand the scope of control also
reduce the impacts of using broad spectrum insecticides.
